When do I receive updates?

All FortuneSaver High Yield Advisor plans are updated every month, and notifications are sent out monthly, basis the plan you subscribe to. For the Medium and High level plans, updates may be released during the month to those subscribers, if there has been a change to the interest rates by the federal reserve, change in our bank selection basis our research, change in FDIC status or other factors. We will also send a notification if the rate moves significantly – example, if a bank is offering 4.25% APY%, and it drops below the next highest bank say at 4.20% APY% and other factors do not affect our overall rating, we may notify subscribers. Typically, a rate of more than 0.10% generates an update from us.

Can I get my notifications via text messaging?

Email is the required form of notification. We do not offer text message notification as the primary message method. If you want to also receive a text message notification, we can attempt to configure the notification as an additional notification method, however we do not recommend this method of communications for various reasons (i.e. some mobile carriers do not handle HTML notifications (which ours is), have reliability issues, charge text messaging rates, do not handle our HTML notifications well, and require written/express consent).

How do I add text notifications to my subscription?

Where can I find my Subscription ID?

You can find your subscription ID by clicking on “My Account” at the top right of your screen (on desktop computer) and then login to your account. Then click on Subscriptions.

What languages are supported?

Subscription payments and how to cancel your FortuneSavers subscription?

Summary: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your first month’s payment is non-refundable. Subscription cancellation requests (can be made anytime through the link below) but must be made three (3) business days prior to your next Payment Date to prevent a subsequent month’s payment to occur. Cancellations take effect immediately (i.e. will show as “Canceled” in your account (typically no later than 24hrs after the request is made)). We do not offer prorated refunds.

Billing and Subscription Cancellation Policy in detail:

  • Subscription payments occur on the date +31 days from your original billing date each month, of each month. You can review the next upcoming Payment Date in your account, by clicking on the Subscriptions button.
  • Your first month’s billing payment is non-refundable (as you received immediate value from our research and email notification upon sign-up).
  • To prevent billing for the subsequent month, cancellation requests must be submitted, via the link below, three (3) business days (i.e. USA public holidays and Weekends do not count as a business day) prior to your next Payment Date. You can find your next upcoming Payment Date in your account, by clicking on the Subscriptions button.
  • If the next Payment Date falls on a weekend or a public holiday, please be sure to account for those days as non-business days. Three (3) business days are needed to provide sufficient time to cancel the auto-billing that will occur on your next Payment Date.
  • If you submit your cancellation request less than three (3) business days prior to your next Payment Date (i.e. say 2 business days prior), you will be charged for the next Payment Date , you will receive the next FortuneSavers notification (when it is released), and your subscription will be canceled effective the cancellation request date, but will not receive any further FortuneSaver notifications.
  • No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
  • Once canceled, your Subscription will show as “Canceled” in your Account.

Example: As an example if you sign up on May 18th as a new subscriber, the following timeline applies (similarly for any day you sign up on):

  1. New Subscriber: You sign up on May 18th. Your subscription is active for the next 31 days. The next day, May 19th, you decide to cancel. Unfortunately the first month’s subscription is non-refundable. Your subscription will be Cancelled effective May 19th, and you will not receive any further notifications from FortuneSavers.
  2. Timely Cancellation: Using this example, let’s say you want to cancel in August and your next Payment Date billing is August 18th. August 18th (2025) falls on a Monday, so to prevent the next Payment Date being processed you will need to submit your cancellation request online via the link below, by no later than end of day (Pacific Time) on August 13th (2025). Your subscription will end on August 13th and you won’t be billed for the next months billing on August 18th.
  3. Late Cancellation: Using the example above in 2., let’s say you cancel on August 14th (ie just 2 business days prior to your next Payment Date), because it is less than 3 business days prior, you will be billed for the August 18th Payment Date, you will receive a FortuneSavers notification on that date, and your subscription will end on August 14th, and you won’t be billed for any future months. You will not receive a prorated refund for the August month.

If I cancel my subscription, do I still get future updates/alerts for banks I invested in while I was a FortuneSavers subscriber?

No. Once you cancel you will no longer get FortuneSavers notifications (udates or alerts) to any of the banks that you may have invested in prior to ending your subscription. If your subscription has FDIC monitoring, you will also not get any updates or alerts about those banks’ FDIC statuses. The only exception is if you cancel less than 3 business days prior to your next Payment Date, then, irrespective of plan level you selected, you will be charged for the next month’s payment, you will receive a FortuneSavers notification at that time, and your account will be cancelled on the cancellation request date. You will not receive a prorated refund for that next month.
